| Following a few setbacks due to circumstances beyond their control, The Finance Company has now taken firm and positive steps to strengthen its foundations by coming under the Management of Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka (MBSL), who in turn are under the patronage of the Bank of Ceylon. |

| Without the confidence of its customers, no financial institution will be able to stand. As such, the first step taken by this new management was to see to it that all overdue interest payments on Fixed deposits and other interest payments in arrears were well taken care of. |
